Vanessa Smith

Book with Vanessa

About Vanessa

Vanessa was drawn to the soul-to-soul connection of Massage Therapy and went on to study at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, AB, graduating with distinction in 2010. Missing the Toon Town vibe, she made the decision to move back home in 2013 and continued her practice as a mobile therapist at long term care facilities, out of her home and within a multi-disciplinary health care clinic.
It was during the “covid pause” that Vanessa found herself reevaluating the future of her career, which ultimately led her to gratefully welcome a new chapter within the warmth and vibrancy of the Pura Vida Yoga Loft in July 2020.
Her treatments are based in the therapeutic Swedish Massage style, with a wholesome respect for the mind-body connection that is crucial to pain recovery and well-being. She is able to help with a diverse range of needs, including mental and emotional health, chronic illness and disability and acute physical trauma. Vanessa considers the full scope of health and well-being, by working with each client to improve quality of life indicators, such as energy, sleep, social functioning, coping skills, mood, relaxation and mindfulness. She welcomes adults and children, pre and post-natal women, and of course our seniors and all of the invaluable wisdom that they carry.
Outside of her work life, Vanessa and her two young kids are often found squishing their toes in mud, sand or snow at the riverbank, biking or hiking to look for trees to climb or just mellowing out with a good book.

Sherry Crawford

Book with Sherry

About Sherry

After many years away from Saskatchewan, the journey back home to Saskatoon in 2017 has become the inspiration for the inception of Prairie Girl Therapies YXE,
The decision to get back to basics has been a huge part on Sherry’s own personal healing/spiritual journey and it made so much sense to start off this new business with the sharing of family traditions of Mediumship, Tarot and Tea Leaves.
Sherry’s belief that a healer must heal themselves before they work with others has led her to connect with various healings modalities such as Reiki, Access Bars, Life Skills Coaching, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and her latest endeavor of Akashic Records. Always being mindful Sherry continues to work on her own personal growth so that she is able to bring the best forward to her clients with her services and classes.
Perfectly imperfect is the perfect way to describe Sherry, the owner and creator of Prairie Girl Therapies. Much like the Phoenix, her business has risen out of the ashes of her former business BeLoved Healing Arts Canada. The new name is a true reflection on its creator… this prairie girl has been travelling around the world but never loosing site on where she came from.
For further information on Sherry and the many services she offers, please go to her website at www.sherrycrawford.ca. You may book appointments from there or simply just give her a call or text at the following: 306 914-4968 or 403 466-2832.
Healers are spiritual warriors who have found the courage to defeat the darkness of their souls. Awakening and rising from the depths of their deepest fears, like a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Reborn with a wisdom and strength that creates a light that shines bright enough to help, encourage and inspire others out of their own darkness. … Melanie Koulouris.

Susynn Kroeskamp

Book with Susynn

About Susynn

I am a Registered Massage Therapist, graduated with distinction from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy. I have always been drawn to holistic and intuitive healing, body work and energy work. After spending five + years in the industrial trades, personally benefiting from Massage Therapy, I decided to take the leap to learn and practice this myself.

I have developed an understanding of treating pain and physical dysfunction, as well as maintaining tissue health starting with assessment, treatment and a follow up plan. This allows me to personalize each treatment to reach my clients goals.

I use a combination of various techniques, including Swedish massage, joint mobilizations, myofascial release and trigger point release and continue to further my education and experiences.

Looking forward to meeting you!
